The new State of Decay DLC looks to take a very different perspective to what we’ve normally come to expect from military might and zombie survival, pitching the army as a force of good working with citizens against the slavering hordes.
To make the effect of societal breakdown more pronounced though, State of Decay: Lifeline features what can be best described as a reverse skill tree, stripping you of abilities and power the longer the outbreak continues…
In Lifeline player’s take control of a small surviving unit of the military known as Greyhound One, tasked with being sent to the over-run city of Danforth to rescue scientists with the knowhow to put an end to his outbreak. The DLC begins during the height of the initial zombie outbreak and the chain of command is still very much in place, as well as support.
